Sandra Isaka, who spoke to us about machiya in June, has put together a tour for us in her trademark "off the beaten track" style. We will meet for a picnic lunch near Demachiyanagi station in Kyoto (indoors if raining), visit the machiya she has renovated and explore some shrines and temples while weaving our way towards Okazaki.
