Changing Lives: The Power of Sign Language and Education for the Deaf in Rural Kenya
Join us in February to learn about the challenges faced by the Deaf community in rural Kenya and the transformative power of education. Our speaker, Kathleen Kitao, has dedicated three months each year for the past three years volunteering at Immanuel Integrated Christian School in rural Kenya. She will share her experiences as well as insights on the importance of sign language. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Deaf culture and the impact of education on the lives of Deaf people.
