Take a Mindful Break with FEW
Join us for a "Mindful Break"--a short mindfulness practice hosted by FEW member Leigh Kennedy. These are now offered every 2-3 weeks for any member wanting to step away from the busy every day and have a few minutes of focusing on the present moment. No prior participation is required.
Leigh will lead us in some gentle body movements and breathing and will include some reflection time, so have a pen and paper or a favorite journal nearby. No special equipment is required. Please wear comfortable clothes, and join us from a space in your home where you can sit and stretch comfortably.
The Mindful Break will run from 8:00-9:00p.m. It is free of charge and open to FEW members.
A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants about 30 minutes before the start of the event. Please register by 7:00pm the day of the event to ensure you receive the link to join.
Instructor: Leigh Kennedy Leigh is a licensed clinical social worker as well as a certified yoga instructor. She has a special interest in the power of mindfulness in our daily lives and enjoys hosting this space where we can practice being mindful together.
