Fostering and Adopting Children in Japan

Have you ever wondered why adopting or fostering children is so rare in Japan? Would you like to know more about adoption and fostering in this country and the difficulties adoptive and foster parents face? We begin the New Year with a presentation by Dr. Melodie Cook, a professor at the University of Niigata Prefecture. Dr. Cook will draw from her vast knowledge and extensive experience to enlighten us on this topic. Through her zeal for adoption and fostering, she hopes to inspire us to do what we can to help children in need find a loving home. Please join us for an informative and hopeful start to the New Year!
